Jorge Luis Borges

In 1984, two years before his death, Borges published Atlas, a book of journeys. It is composed by memories, brief stories and essays, dreams and even a love declaration to María Kodama (who accompanied him during his last trips) but the book is unique due to the photos of Borges as tourist: at the pyramids, in Madrid, in Athens, in an air balloon in California.

The Buenos Aires of Borges

The entire world has paid homage to Jorge Luis Borges, confirmed as one of the most important writers of the last century. Right now, in Madrid, a great exhibition called “El Atlas de Borges” is being presented in Madrid. Such event shows of more than 130 photos belonging to the personal album that the writer carried in his trips around more than 20 cities in the world.

Gastronomy with names

Undoubtedly, Asado is the gastronomy icon in Argentina, even though it is more common to see porteño people eating breaded escalope with French fries. But, which are the favourite dishes for the most famous Argentine people? Inspired by this question, Héctor Campos, the executive chef for Hotel Intercontinental Buenos Aires, is presenting a gastronomic and cultural festival that ends today, on Wednesday the 21st.
