Film, city and travel: three to love
Agosto 5, 2011 por travellingbuenosaires

“Others go to the movies and dominate situations, know more on New York than Lennon,” Uruguayan troubadour Jaime Roos used to sing. It’s true: the film is one of the best ways to travel without moving much. And a journey always starts with a wish, and there is no no bigger factory of wishes than film. On the screen, we learn to love those places where you may never have been, but still feel you are local: New York’s Central Park lake, the bridges of Paris, freezing steppes of Russia or the beaches of the Caribbean. It depends on the film and the landscapes that we like.
