The Paris Book Fair -since 1981 during the French spring- picks a different country each year as its special guest. On 2011, for the first time, a city was invited: Buenos Aires.
In autumn, Buenos Aires does not stop. We have just recovered from the consecutive events called Bafici and the Book’s Fair, when the art attacks. Arteba starts in the Rural of Palermo with a hurricane strength because it lasts only five days – from May 29th to June 2nd to show the new trend of the Latin American art. Prepare the walls, point the lights, art.
With 1.800 stands; with the presence of more than 50 countries; with 74,000 visitors in 2006; over a surface of 40,000 square meters; considered the most important tourism fair in Latin America and the fourth in the world, on Saturday 17th, November, in La Rural of Buenos Aires, the 2007 edition of the Feria Internacional de Turismo is opened.
