A few days ago, musician David Byrne was in Buenos Aires presenting his book Bicycle Diaries. As he does in all the cities he visits, a meeting with local cyclists was organized.

As we all know –and have already said in the blog– journeys begin on the Internet, when the future tourist enthusiastically looks at pictures, reads and seeks comments from other visitors. But there are also sites that allow to end a travel on the Internet.

We love planning our trips with enough time and thinking every detail in advance. We prepare detailed itineraries, and in general strict, with that idea of exploiting the times and see a lot of highlights: what to see doesn’t matter: many cities, many beaches, many museums, many wineries, whatever. We plan as we knew the future. And then we say, with enough conviction, things like “on Tuesday, the 5th, I arrive in Cuzco, on Thursday I go to Machu Picchu and on Sunday the 10, I’ll be in Lima”.
