The extreme tourist

First of all, you have to arrive, look for a place where you feel comfortable, visit all the surroundings and places that the guidebooks consider as must-see.
After that, you can relax a little, you walk following your own whims and leave behind the most visited routes. Then, you begin to feel that yu have become acquainted with the city. At that moment, changing the point of view is the best thing to do.
The eastern boundary of Buenos Aires is the Río de la Plata; an image that its own inhabitants do not know can be taken from the river. It is possible to enjoy a trip on sailing ship or kayak, by day or night. Besides, people can visit the Delta del Paraná and Martín García island, in the middle of the river, or practise diving in Uruguay, our neighbour country.
Another good option is to be acquainted with Buenos Aires by air. Many trips on plane and helicopter around the city and its surroundings are provided. Those people fond of extreme sports can choose the bird soul or parachute. In order to jump alone, the course is compulsory. The beginners can jump in tandem with the instructor.
Do you know your city from the sky or water? Which activity would you recommend a tourist for being acquainted with the city?

I’ve got a boat and live by a lake. Life is very special when you look at it while sailing, like Karl says!
